Epic fail…

Wow. That’s all I can say. Wow. A 38-10 throttling doesn’t help get the season started on a good note. I can’t blame anyone in particular, because everyone looked terrible.

Sure, Delhomme looked worse than he did against Arizona in the playoffs last year, but can we really hang this one on his shoulders? The OL was terrible against the Eagles’ blitz. Delhomme didn’t stand a chance in the pocket (or lack thereof), and because of all the turnovers (7 freaking turnovers, are you kidding me?) the defense couldn’t do anything because they were on the field way too long – it was just horrible all the way around.

I will give more insight on this game later, after I’ve come to my senses and realize that we really did get our asses handed to us 38-10 on opening day (at home).

Not the start you're hoping for. They're too good not to turn it around.
