A few notes…

I like that the league instituted the division matchups for the last week of the season, but that doesn’t really make a difference for the Panthers who will close the season within the division on the road for the 6th straight year.

Two games that are on my radar: the Oct. 10 matchup against the Bears and the Nov. 28 matchup against the Browns. (Obviously for the Peppers/Delhomme reunions.)

I’m glad the Panthers have a decent bye week this year (Week 6) as opposed to an earlier one like they had last year.

Overall, I don’t really have any major complaints about the schedule. I don’t like the fact that the Panthers open and close the season on the road, but oh well – everything isn’t perfect. (And hopefully we can open the new Giants stadium the same way we closed the old one, with a good old fashioned ass whipping of the Giants – wouldn’t that be sweet?)
